Although the only thing I have to critique and this isn't anything negative as you left a good amount of words left to provide wiggle room, is that there isn't much interaction between the two of them. Though I do understand the buildup you were providing. That last part was very nearly fantastic it what you were trying to do with the theme and I'm amazed with what you have come up with.
